How to ombre your weave without dying it! That beautiful style that's so popular now called "OMBRE" can be done by you at home! And you don't even have to dye your weave! When you purchase your weave get two different colors. If you are going to have the light color on the bottom for the ombre effect, then make sure it is longer than the darker color. For instance, if you buy two bundles of hair, get the light color in an 18" and the darker color in a 16". As you install the hair working from the bottom of your head up to the top, the hair will create a gradual layered effect which will give the illusion of an ombred look!
How to seal the ends of your extension braids. There are a few different methods. One is dipping the ends of the braids in hot water. Another is burning the ends with a lighter. And lastly, an electric braid sealer will do the job too and a lot quicker. The electric braid sealer is the quickest method of sealing your braid ends. It will also not burn your fingerprints off like how the "lighter" method does :) The braid sealer tool heats up and then with a clamping motion, cuts and seals your braids to the desired length, keeping them from unraveling. It has different size grooves for different size braids and also comes with a handy stand. This tool will help you cut down on the amount of time it takes to complete your braids. And we all know it takes FOREVER to braid. Be aware though that this tool only works on synthetic or kanekalon extension type hair. DO NOT use this on real hair! I repeat...DO NOT use this on real (human) hair!
How to dry your braids quickly without much effort?! Your extension braids have just been installed and dipped. And now it's the long wait of letting them air dry. But you don't have that kind of time! Pulling out your handy hand blow dryer will be a lot of work for your arms, waving that thing back and forth. Why not turn your home into your own mini salon and invest in a hard hat hair dryer? The salons use them and they have them for the everyday consumer home use too. So if you want to relax while you dry your braids, just sit under a hard hat dryer. It's quicker than air drying and will give your arms a much needed break. And of course you can use it for drying other styles as well. So why not grab one and make your life a little easier?! :)
How to grow your hair without doing anything to it?! Leave it alone! You don't always need chemicals, pills or magic tricks to help your hair grow. Using a protective style can help your hair grow. A protective style is a style in which your natural hair is protected from the daily routines of flat ironing, hot curling, coloring, perming, and ect. For example, extension braids, sewin weaves or a simple pony tail allows your hair to rest and thus grows. Simple as that! Go figure :)
How to straighten your natural edges without a perm or burns! We all know that trying to maintain natural hair can be a lot of work. Whether you have a weave or a perm or natural hair, our edges gives us the most problems. No more burning your scalp or your ears trying to get your edges straight! No more resorting to a perm either. And ladies with weaves...your weave is perfectly straight but your edges are not! Try a root straightener (edge pressing stick) that does not burn you and you can get as close to your scalp as you want! This tool hides the heating element inside of a comb barrel that stays cool. It has multiple heat settings and is great on all types of hair. You can use an old style pressing comb or a flat iron for the rest of your hair but for those edges that need a gentler touch, pick up a root straightener (edge pressing stick)! You'll be glad you did :)

Let me share with you how to get the most out of your conditioner. Following the instructions on the back of conditioners are great but let me give you a little tip...Instead of conditioning for the 3 to 5 minutes that most bottles state, leave it on for at least an hour with a plastic bag or shower cap on your head. This method will allow you to "deep condition" the hair and obtain the full results that the product promises.
